What is the role?

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales under the guidance of our Sales Director and CEO. You will be provided with leads via ongoing marketing and telesales but expected to generate significant business and opportunities yourself as well.

You will be expected to be able to develop an account strategy and pipeline, maintain sales reports, develop market and competitor knowledge, deliver presentations to Customers to a high standard, as well as create sales proposals.
We are looking for self-starting, tenacious, go-getter lead hunters, there will be no room for coasting.

We are currently looking for a number of experienced, self-motivated sales people spread across the UK: Scotland – North – Midlands - South

After sales management and development of the customer are also required.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Generate and develop your own sales leads
  • Prospect marketing qualified leads
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly targets with appropriate on time reporting
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Identify partnership opportunities
  • Maintain existing business
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success
  • Sales, Sales, Sales!

Skills and experience

  • Sales acquisition/development experience essential, ideally in SaaS environment (minimum 3 years)
  • Detail orientated but able to be flexible too
  • Focused and goal oriented
  • Excellent communicator at all levels within a business
  • IT proficient with sound knowledge of CRM’s, Microsoft Office
  • The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the legal requirements surrounding Health & Safety compliance in the workplace
  • Able to work as part of team but on own initiative too
  • Ability and possibility to work effectively from home

What is the role?

Technical Lead to assist with a wide variety of duties related to The Compliance Genie and its users – both in terms of technical support, managing our helpdesk and other customer related support as and when necessary.

In this role you will mentor and provide leadership for technical staff, as well as actively participating in the day-to-day technical tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Eventual line management of a small number of technical staff
  • Working with senior staff and management to develop the scope of work and effort estimates for project proposals and SOWs
  • The technical direction of a project you lead, and the ultimate delivery of the technical output of the project

Be-Safe teams are distributed geographically so you need to be self-organized, communicate well in English, in both written and oral form, be flexible and willing to adapt to the processes in place in order to meet the project’s goals and attend meetings with global participants.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • You will be involved in supporting customers with their technical issues – whether for initial setup or ongoing assistance after they have gone live
  • Organize and direct the team of engineers/help desk support staff
  • Report to key management on the progress towards achieving the goals outlined in the statement of work
  • Ensure delivery of world-class software to our clients
  • Produce and deliver documentation required during the process and delivery of services
  • Manage first- and second-line support
  • Liaising with our team of developers about technical issues and challenges
  • Working with customers at all levels on technical issues relating to The Compliance Genie App and desktop version

Required skills and experience:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of AWS
  • Strong English language communication skills, especially in online environments such as mailing lists and IRC
  • Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation, delivering according to a schedule
  • Strong working knowledge of open-source development tools and methodologies
  • Experience of submitting code to upstream projects
  • Ability to mentor other less experienced team members.
  • Experience in working with and manging development teams
  • Experience of SaaS products essential
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability and possibility to work effectively from home

  • Ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical people
